A frequently cited difficulty in autistic/ADHDers is being aware when they are stressed, hungry, thirsty, tired, or have bathroom needs. The following are models of scales that can be use to check in with oneself. The stress ‘ometer (rhymes with thermometer) can be used also for specific situations, such as stress level at work vs at home vs in nature; or specific times; or with specific people.
The PDF can be printed out and attached to a clipboard, using a clothespin for a marker.

It can also be placed on a metal surface, such as a refrigerator or cabinet, using a magnet as a marker. The picture shows a magnet used on a metal board.
